Steenburn, Ronald Floyd BALLSTON LAKE Ronald Floyd Steenburn, 69, of Wedgewood Ct., entered into eternal life on Thursday, July, 25, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Ron was born on September 22, 1943 in Catskill, the son of the late Floyd and Ruth Denniston Steenburn. Ron was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a 22 year member of the Clifton Park Elks Lodge BPOE 2466 where he was the secretary of the golf league as well as an avid golfer. Ron enjoyed playing darts and horseshoes at the Elks. He was also a 18 year member of the American Legion Mohawk Post 1450 in Halfmoon and bowled in their bowling league. He was employed as a computer specialist for AT & T in Albany until retiring. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Franklin, Donna Mosher and Dorothy Steenburn. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Lillie A. Emanuelsen Steenburn whom he married on May 6, 1966; his children, Joley Tetreault of Saratoga Springs, Ronald Christopher (Christine Perras) Steenburn and Randi (Joshua) Hemming all of Ballston Spa; five precious granddaughters, Abigail, Lily, Kaia, Averi and Myia, also survived by several nephews. Ron is also survived by his trusted and faithful companion his dog, "Dylan". Funeral will be held on Monday, July 29,2013 at 11:30 a.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's memory to the Community Hospice of Saratoga, 171 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, Clifton Park.
