Anglum, Ruth TROY Ruth Anglum, 96, of Lansingburgh, died on July 2, 2009 at the Van Rensselaer Manor with her family by her side. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Frank Schatzle and the widow of John H. Anglum. Mrs. Anglum was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School and was a retired secretary for the Matthew Bender Company in Menands. She was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh. Survivors include her son, Robert Anglum and his wife Kathleen of Latham and her daughter, Kathleen Rancourt of Troy; brothers, George Schatzle of Fla. and Robert Schatzle of Troy; also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grand-children. Mrs. Anglum was predeceased by her sisters, Elsie Travers and Lucy Schatzle and brothers, Louis Schatzle, Herman Schatzle and Harold Schatzle. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the devoted staff of the Van Rensselaer Manor for the care given to Ruth. She was treated with dignity and kindness and we thank you. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. from St. Augustine's Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery in Troy. Friends are invited and may call at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, 8 109th Street in Troy on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Those wishing to honor Ruth may make a donation to the charity of their choice.
