Levin, Sanford B. "Sandy" DELMAR Sanford "Sandy" B. Levin a resident of Delmar, died on November 28, 2012. He was born on April 20, 1923 in Albany and was the only child of the late Harry E. and Carrie Stulmarker Levin. Mr. Levin retired as president of Levin-Liston and Associates Inc. on August 11, 1998. The company is known internationally in the shooting and hockey industry. Sandy was honored in the 1993-94 Who's Who Registry of Global Business Leaders of America. Mr. Levin was in the armed forces from 1942 until 1946, serving as a Marine throughout the Pacific there after from Marshall Island to Kyushu, Japan. He was presented with The Presidential "For Extraordinary Heroism in action against enemy Japanese forces during the Okinawa Campaign from April 14 to July 14, 1945". Mr. Levin leaves his only child, Ronald Marc Levin and his daughter-in-law, Peggy Sue Levin who resides in Delmar. He also leaves behind three wonderful grandchildren, Kristin Carrie Levin of Key Largo, Fla., Kyle Robert Levin and Sandy Kaitlynn Levin. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Ave. in Albany on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland.
