Smith, Takim ALBANY Takim TK Smith (Tubu), departed this life suddenly, on Monday, February 4, 2013. He was born on March 17, 1991 in Albany, N.Y. to Leyward Morris and Roshana Smith. Takim received his early education with honors, which continued onto Rensselaer Education Center where he received a two year honor roll award in automotive technology II, in 2008. He graduated from Lansingburgh High School in 2009 and furthered his education at Bryant Stratton Community College. While he was pursuing his education, Takim became a devoted employee at Hess gas station where he was truly loved. He also obtained his car auction license in 2010. Takim was the proud father of three lovely children, Za'riya, Takim JR, Zay'vion, and one unborn child. He leaves to cherish his parents, Leyward Morris and Roshana McArthur (Duvalle); a special dad (Cleovis) and a special mom (Lynn); one daughter, Za'riya; and two sons, Takim JR and Zay'vion; 14 siblings, Jamel, Taleena, Naquan, Martiza, Deshana, Myesynce, Leyward, Du'vaje, Demira, Du'vashia, Avian, Da'nya, DuValle JR, and Aireon; grandparents, Anthony Smith, Joan Bell, Leyward Morris, and Deborah Woodson. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service Tuesday February 12, 12 noon at Wilborn Temple COGIC, corner of South Swan and Lancaster Street. Viewing 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the church. Internment, Graceland Cemetery.
