Apicella, Vincenza M. TROY Vincenza Alonge Apicella, 93, of Gurley Avenue, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Brooklyn on January 16, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano Alonge and Catherine Trafficante Alonge and wife of the late Paul L. Apicella who died in 1980. Survivors include five sons, Anthony (Diane) Apicella of Ariz., Paul (Ann) Apicella of Troy, Guy Apicella of Hudson, Jim Apicella of Latham, Charles (Regina) Apicella of Mass.; grandchildren, Morgan, Sage, Paul (Nicole) Apicella, Kim (Brian) O'Neill, Kristin (Michael) Montesano, and Charles Apicella Jr.; great-grandchildren, Andrew and Casey Montesano, Reilly Hurst, and Evangeline Apicella; two sisters, Teresa (Frank) Tanzillo of Ariz., Marquerite Kane of Hudson, and two brothers, Francis (Anna) Alonge of Hudson and Guy (Dorthea) Alonge of Troy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Vincenza was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Charles, Vincent and Anthony Alonge, Udienza Ciampa, Lillian Alonge and Sarah Campagna. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday from the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home, corner of 109th Street and Third Avenue, Lansingburgh and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Shrine Church, State Street, Troy. Burial will follow in Cedar Park Cemetery, Hudson at 12:30 p.m. Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
