Rocco, Gabriella S. MECHANICVILLE Gabriella Sharon Rocco, two-year-old daughter of Peter and Joan Boll Rocco, won her victory over a severe neurological disease, which had been discovered last year, and entered the gate of Heaven Wed-nesday evening, May 28, 2008 while in the loving company of her family. Born in Albany, March 26, 2006, Gabriella is also survived by her big sister, three-year-old Samantha Antoinette Rocco; her maternal grandparents, Edward and Sharon Boll of Stuyvesant, N.Y.; paternal grandfather, Tony "Chippo" Rocco of Mechanicville and the late Antoinette Rocco; aunts and uncles Nancy (Karston) Van der Huir of Leer, Germany; godparents, Edward (Amy) Boll of Stuyvesant, Louis (Karen Mosher) Rocco, Erin (John) Bolton, all of Mechanicville; and grand aunts, Phyllis Rocco of Mechanicville and Anne Racette of Round Lake; along with a wonderful network of close family friends, communities, and people of faith throughout the entire country. Gabriella's medical conditions became a source of inspiration to not only her family's world, but through the Caring Bridge ( internet site, a story of hope, faith and compassion which has been shared by thousands. Gabriella's family will never forget the comfort and support that this site has been shared with them, and they would like to thank all, for the countless messages, bestowed upon Gabriella these past months. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at the Assumption-St. Paul North Main Street Church in Mechanicville. Friends may call at the North Main Street Church on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Private burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville, at the convenience of the family. Remembrances may be made to the Catie Hoch Foundation, 27 Southwood Dr., Ballston Lake, NY 12019, in loving memory of Gabriella Sharon Rocco.
