Nardacci, Mary Jane ALBANY Mary Jane Nardacci, 91, died on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Born in Lyons, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Aida Cronin Welch. Mrs. Nardacci was a graduate of North Rose Central High School and attended Nazareth College before entering nurses training at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. There she met Dr. Anthony Nardacci to whom she was married in 1943. She was a member of the Albany County Medical Auxiliary, the Ladies of Charity, St. Peter's Alumnae and volunteered for the American Red Cross. She was the wife of the late Dr. Anthony Nardacci; beloved mother of Dr. Michael Nardacci and Maureen Duda; grandmother of Stacey, Jonathan and Richard Duda; sister of Timothy Welch and the late Frances Hamel, Thomas Welch, Robert Morrison; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the "angels" who cared for her at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center. Funeral services, Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 8:15 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., Albany thence to the Parish of Mater Christi, Albany at 9 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
