Worobey, Joseph GREEN ISLAND Joseph (Chuck) Worobey, 84, of Green Island, entered into eternal life on Friday March 7, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Chuck is now with his beloved wife of 55 years, Lucille, who has been waiting for him with the angels. Chuck was a devoted husband who lovingly attended to his wife during her long illness, he was also a caring father and was very proud of his children, Joseph (Darlene), Mark (Ardis) Worobey, and Luanne (Frampton) Duffy. He was always there for his family in good and in bad, supporting them each step along the way, he was a good family man who sacrificed much for the sake of his loved ones, a man of few words, his actions spoke loudly of his love for his family. When he was not devoting his time to his family, Chuck loved hunting, and fishing and eventually developed a passion for the game of golf. In addition to his children he is survived by his six beloved grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Heather, Nicole, Michael, Madeleine and Kayleigh. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass that will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 416 3rd St. Troy, N.Y.
