Kreidler, Donald H. Sr. STILLWATER Donald H. Kreidler Sr., 67, of Maple Lane died Saturday May 24, 2014 at his residence. Born in Elmira he was the son of the late George and Lucretia Decker Kreidler. He was a 1964 graduate of Elmira Free Academy and had resided in Averill Park and Troy before moving to Stillwater 30 years ago. Don was employed for 26 years at the Watervliet Arsenal and retired in 1990. In retirement he was a school bus driver in the Shenendehowa School District. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He was the father of William C. Kreidler of Cohoes, Amy L. Funiciello (AJ) of Niskayuna, the late Angela Marie Kreidler and Donald H. Kreidler Jr. He is the brother of Richard C. Kreidler and Joyce M. Nolan of Elmira, the late James J. Kreidler, Charlotte Trigg and Elizabeth Kreidler. He is the proud grandfather of Deanna Marie and William C. Donald Kreidler, Ayden M. and Preston T. Funiciello. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Those who wish may make contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home office.
