Schofield-Willetts, Mrs. Nina Houghton AMSTERDAM Mrs. Nina Houghton Schofield-Willetts, 100, formerly of Waterford, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at the River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam. Born in Middle Grove, she was a lifelong resident of Saratoga County and was the daughter of the late Oliver and Caroline Cobart Houghton. A graduate of Albany Business College, she was employed as an executive secretary for the D & H Railroad until retiring. She was a member of the Loudonville Community Church. Mrs. Willetts was married to Joseph Schofield in 1946 until his passing away in 1952. She re-married Joseph Willetts in 1966 who passed away in 1970. She was also predeceased by four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Mould, Mrs. Gloria Freeman, Miss. Leona Houghton and Mrs. Irene Mould, also survived by 14 nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and nephews and their spouses. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be held in Memory's Garden, Colonie. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park.
