Catallo, Faith "Fay" WATERFORD Faith "Fay" Catallo, 74, of Fonda Road, died on Sunday, June 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at Saratoga Hospital. Born in Cohoes, she was a lifelong Waterford resident and was the daughter of the late William H. and Dorothy Lant Law. Fay was a 1957 graduate of Waterford High School. Fay had been employed for six years at Schuyler Ridge Health Care Center in Clifton Park and retired in 2000. Prior to that she was employed at Girl Scout headquarters in Delmar. A communicant of Grace Episcopal Church in Waterford, Fay served as warden and vestry member. She was a leader in the Outreach Ministry and food pantry at the church as well as being a lay reader and former Sunday school superintendent. She also had chaired the search committee. Fay was active in the Girl Scout program in Waterford for 40 years and was recipient of the Pelican Award. She was past president of St. Mary's Mother's Club and had served as president of the Friends of the Waterford Public Library and Waterford Study Club. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Walter C. Catallo; her devoted children, Dawn M. Bunnell (Richard) of Santa Monica, Calif., Anita L. Catallo of Connecticut, Yvonne F. Palma (Mark David) of Queensbury, Laura L. Greco (Jeff) of Wevertown, Kara J. Catallo of Waterford and Dario E. Catallo (Kim) of Bakersfield, Calif. She is the sister of William Law of Florida and proud grandmother of Corrie, Nathan (Jen), Vanessa and Chaz Catallo, Dustin and Sarah Greco. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Route 32), Waterford and at 10 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Discretionary Fund or Food Pantry at Grace Church in care of the funeral home office.
