Agostino, Mary J. WATERVLIET Mary J. Natarelli Agostino, 92, died peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Teresian House in Albany. Born in Watervliet on September 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose DeAngelo Natarelli. A lifelong resident of Watervliet, she was a graduate of Watervliet public schools. She was employed by Tiny Town Tots in Troy, Woolworth's in Menands and by Price Chopper in Watervliet as a cashier for eight years before retiring. She was a devout communicant of the former Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Watervliet and had a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. She was a member of the Blue Army Rosary Prayer Group and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She was the wife of the late Nicholas D. Agostino, who died in 1998; loving mother of John A. Agostino of Guilderland, Roseanne Colarusso of Downingtown, Pa., Anthony J. Agostino of Watervliet and the late Dominick J. Agostino; sister of Anne Bouchard and Santa Del Brocco, both of Watervliet. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be private by invitation only at the convenience of the family with entombment at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 33 Everett Road, Albany, NY 12205.
