Conlon, Barbara HALFMOON Barbara G. Conlon, 75, of Cooks Court, beloved wife of over 47 years of James F. "Jim" Conlon of Halfmoon, entered into eternal life on Friday, June 27, 2014. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Cora Tardio DeStefano and was a graduate of the Vincentian Institute and St. Catherine's Nursing School, both in Albany. Mrs. Conlon was a homemaker. She cherished raising her family and the times spent with family, in particular her four grandchildren who affectionately called her Nanny and Grandma. Beloved wife of James F. "Jim" Conlon of Halfmoon; devoted mother of Kevin J. (Sheri) Conlon of Fairport, and Kristina M. (Mark) Grosky of Clifton Park; cherished "Grandma" of Patrick and Katie Conlon; cherished "Nanny" of Sarah and Mark Grosky; sister of Paul (Joanne) DeStefano of Clifton Park, the late Ralph DeStefano Jr., who is survived by his wife Joan of New Jersey and the late Theresa (the late, Frank) Lizzi, who are survived by their daughters; Barbara's nieces, Ann Marie (John) Rizzo and Andrea Lizzi. Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at 8:15 a.m., from the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9 in Clifton Park, thence to St. Mary's Church, Crescent, 86 Church Hill Road, Waterford, where at 9 a.m. a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be held in the Gerald B.H.
