Mosher, Patricia ALBANY Patricia Mosher of Albany peacefully entered heaven on her own terms on July 24, 2014 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Grammy, as she was known to all, was born in Albany on September 20, 1934, to the late Ralph and Anna Searles. A proud graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Amsterdam, she worked in many area hospitals as a registered nurse; retiring after a 30-year career from Child's Hospital. Her greatest joy came from watching every gymnastic, cheerleading or acrobatics and tumbling competition in which her grandchildren participated. Always a vibrant and caring person, she continued to work with her best friend Pam and their "babies" at the Academy of the Holy Names and the JMU summer camps until her illness in 2013. Sadly, she was predeceased by her brother Sonny. The family would like to thank the many who cared for Pat during her 367-day stay at St. Peter's. Each of you went above and beyond, and for that we will always be grateful. She is survived by her loving daughters, Judy (Bill) Bryan and Mary Jude (Jim) Cribbs; two granddaughters, Victoria and Rebecca; and two step-grandchildren, Christy and Robert. Funeral services, Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at 9:15 a.m., from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., Albany, thence at 10 a.m., to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the funeral home. Entombment will follow the Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children Hospital or St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
