Weaver, Frances A. LAKE PANASOFFKEE, Fla. Frances Ann (Finlay) Weaver, 99, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Anna J. Kassay Finlay. Mrs. Weaver resided in Albany for much of her life and relocated to Naples, Fla. in 1976. She was a homemaker and dedicated much of her life to caring for her family and her home. While in Albany she served as president of the Mother's Club of DeMolay and was a member of St. Peter's Protestant Episcopal Church in Albany where she once served as president of the Women's Guild. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Weaver, Sr. and her son John W. Weaver, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Harold) Graves of Naples; brothers, Bill Finlay of Brian, Texas, Richard Finlay of East Greenbush and Walter Finlay of Nassau; as well as three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside ceremony, to which all are invited to attend, will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands. Those who wish to attend are requested to gather at 9:45 a.m. inside the Cemetery's south gate located at Menand Road (Route 378) and Van Rensselaer Boulevard (Route 377), Loudonville.
