Enright, Mercedes ROTTERDAM Mercedes Enright, 95, at rest on Thursday, July 31, 2014. Mercedes was born in the Dominican Republic, the daughter of Miguel and Julia Atala. A homemaker, she was a member of the Schonowe Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary for over 50 years. Mercedes was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Mercedes was the beloved wife of the late Basil E. Enright, who predeceased her in 1982; beloved mother of Debra (Howard) Moyer and Dennis Enright. She is predeceased by her nine siblings and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A calling period will be held on Friday, August 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, followed at 9:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Rotterdam. Mercedes will be laid to rest next to her husband in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
