Lavarnway, Glen M. WATERVLIET Glen M. Lavarnway, 56, died suddenly on Monday, August 4, 2014. Born in Sharon, Conn. on March 18, 1958, he is the beloved son of Betty DiNuzzo of Watervliet and the late Lloyd Lavarnway and Raymond J. DiNuzzo. Glen was raised and educated in Watervliet and graduated from Watervliet High School and Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in electrical construction maintenance. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. He was employed by the Watervliet Arsenal as an electrician for over 30 years. He was a proud American patriot and was a member of the NRA and the Watervliet Rod & Gun Club. He loved to read especially military history and science fiction. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. In addition to his mother, he is the loving brother of Ronald DiNuzzo, Joseph DiNuzzo and Cindy DiNuzzo all of Watervliet and Jeffrey (Christina) DiNuzzo of Ballston Spa, proud uncle of Gabriella (his God-daughter), Nathan, Alexander and Cole DiNuzzo all of Ballston Spa. Relatives and friends may call at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 3-6 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 6 p.m. with Rev. L. Edward Deimeke officiating. Cremation will follow with his ashes being entombed with his father Ray in St. Agnes Mausoleum.
