. Hesch, Isabella ALBANY Isabella A. Hesch, 86, died on Friday, August 7, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late James and Isabella Reilly Shortall. Isabella had worked at Sears as a first clerk. Mrs. Hesch was an accomplished dancer, and performed on stage and in the earliest days of local television. She enjoyed traveling to Maine and Lake Placid, and was an avid NY Yankee and ice skating fan. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Hesch Jr; mother of Joseph A. Hesch III (M. Patricia), James P. Hesch, Mary C. Hesch, Michael J. Hesch (Debbie), Andrew J. Hesch (Leah), and the late John J. Hesch and William G. Hesch; mother-in-law of Julie Hesch; grandmother of Aimee R. Smi (Justin), Lauren E., Maxine, Christine, and Suzanne Hesch, Regina Hunter (Joseph), Brian Bowks (Alexandra), Hayley Bowks, Catherine, Dana, Michael Jr, Isabella and Andrew Hesch Jr; great-grandmother of Zoe Hunter, Joseph Hunter Jr, Addison Bowks and Tamsin Smi; sister of James Patrick Shortall and her beloved late sister Elizabeth Shortall; several nieces and nephews survive. Funeral services on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 8:15 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 9 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
