ALBANY Patrick J. Mroczkowski, MD, 49, died suddenly Tuesday, August 10, 2004. Born in Milwaukee, Wis., he was the son of Mary Bembenek Mroczkowski of Milwaukee and the late Chester Mroczkowski. Doctor Mroczkowski was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He came to Albany in 1997 to practice at Albany Medical Center where he was the director of the department of rheumatology. He was a communicant of Historic St. Mary's Church on Capitol Hill and a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Medical Association. Survivors in addition to his mother include wife, Trudy Corbin Mroczkowski; three daughters, Mary, Melanie and Claire Mroczkowski, all of Albany; a sister, Julie Hedberg of Eagle River, Wis.; two brothers, Paul Mroczkowski and Philip Mroczkowski, both of Milwaukee; nieces and nephews, Emily, Melissa, Julia, Patrick, Stanley, Edward, Steven and Sally. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Historic St. Mary's Church on Capitol Hill, Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Friday 4-6 p.m. Interment will follow Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands.
