For Alice's Family: So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing, please accept my deepest sympathy. (Mike Wever called to tell me.) Your mother was my 2nd Mom when I was a teenager in Altamont. She also let me live with your family before I was married. It is so sad that we lose touch in this crazy world. She was a wonderful, talented human being with a great sense of humor. She helped a lot of folks in her lifetime. When I was still living in Altamont, my girls, (esp. Mary Jo) affectionaly called her "Ma Gaige". She is now happy with your Father and probably joking with Mary Jo. She is in a better place now. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sorry about your Mom, She was a great lady. Always had the coffee on and a bed for anyone who needed one. She was good friend and neighbor. We have many good memories of both your parents.

Your Mom was a special lady. She could always make someone laugh because of her great outlook on life. There were many get togethers between her and my Mom and they sure had a great time together! Lots of laughs between them! My condolances to all of you children but know that your Mom made such a positive difference in so many people's lives and she will never be forgotten. She is definitely in a better place now with your father and I'm sure my Mom will be with her again too. Love to you all.

To the family
I was reading the paper this morning and was both surprised and sadden to hear about your Mom. Will always remember her as full of fun and laughter. She was very helpful to our Josy with springtime cleaning at the lake. Her company was always welcomed. We share in your loss and are thinking of you. With deepest sympathy. Georgia & Johnny Callahan
