Fu, Landis JOHNSONVILLE Landis Lono Kwai Chun Fu, "Happy Hawaiian," of Johnsonville, 65, born on November 4, 1943 in Hawaii, died June 11, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital, and now he is walking with the Lord. Landis served his country 1964-1972 after which he went into graphic arts finishing for 37 years. He was loved and respected by everyone. Landis was predeceased in death by a son, Eric and a daughter, Melody; a sister, Drucilla Louis; as well as his mother, Alice Alameida; and father, Lono Fu; and his stepfather, John Maglinti Jr. Landis is survived by his wife, Virginia Reynolds Fu; daughter, Brenda Maynard; son, Wesley Fu; daughter, Melissa (Josh) Sanchez; and son, Aaron (Danielle) Fu; nine grandchildren, Kayla, Keesha, Alex, Melani, Isaac, Abraham, Joe, Sammy and Elijah; as well as two brothers, Vernon (Lynn) Fu, and Lance (Roni) Fu, and six sisters, Ilona (Warren) Mortsugu, Lissa Fu, Lona Dugue, Lani (Darrin) Gomes, Lynn (Russell) Leong, and Leilani (Kie) Furugen and stepmother, Francis Fu, all from Kauai, Hawaii. A celebration of life will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Hoosic Valley Community Church, 2024 NY Route 40, Schaghticoke, N.Y. 12154; an hour of calling will be held previous to the service from 10:30 to 11:30. Burial will be Monday at the Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, Schuylerville at 1:30 p.m. We look forward to seeing you again. Landis, we love you.
