Rouse, El-I-Meek ALBANY El-I-Meek Kamar Prince-King Rouse (L-Boogie) was born on July 26, 1984 in Albany, N.Y. He was suddenly taken on September 8, 2009. He was educated in Albany Public Schools, Bishop Maginn and Troy High. He was employed at Securities as a security guard and at Julie Blair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. El-I-Meek was the beloved son of Carol L. Tolbert-Richardson and Dwayne Rouse of Albany; stepson of Jefferson Young of Albany; one daughter, Shar'ri; brother of two sisters, Tissiney Richardson-Chaney (Willie Chaney) and Seaquasia Rouse-Dixon (Jerome Dixon); and one brother, Stoney Richardson III (Virginia Mason); grandson of Clifton and Willie T. Tolbert and the late Blanche and Lenny West of Albany; uncle to Kentasia, Iiyqueyvia, Majahlik, Justice, Kenta-v'onna; godbrother of Natesha, Quinzia, Kadaysha, Tammie, Lameek, and Shahiem. Also survived by four uncles, three great-uncles, five aunts and five great-aunts; his Old Head Ronald McClenos of Albany; one best friend, Antwan White. El had three dear aunts, Melba Tolbert, Melinda Murphy and Tiffany West. He also had five dear uncles, Willie Tolbert, Tony Brown, Prince Ali-Shaam, Vernon Murphy and Master Ali-Shaam all of Albany. He had seven dear cousins, Kairaba Tolbert, Rahiem Jones, Jaquan Tolbert, Quannasia Jones, Tahmel Stratton, Romar Murphy and Teasha Pearson. Funeral service Tuesday 12 noon at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 441 Washington Avenue. Viewing 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the church prior to the service. Interment, Graceland Cemetery.
