Mendick, Stanley ALBANY, N.Y. Born September 26, 1921 in Som-bury, Pa., deceased December 6, 2010 after a short illness. Stan spent his early years in New York. He served in the Army during World War II seeing combat in the European Theatre including the Battle of Ardennes. Upon returning, he was married and in 1949, moved his family to California and resided there for 56 years. He spent the last five years in the loving care of son, Richard and Nancy of Selkirk. He also leaves two loving grandchildren, Paul and Melissa Mendick; friends, Kathy Mendick and Debby and Dean Dunlap; and stepson, Roger and Matilda Lambert of Port Alberti, Canada. Thanks to all the people who provided care and support from the nurses, doctors and Bethle-them Senior Services van drivers. Funeral services will be private. Interment, Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Bethlehem Senior Projects, Inc., 445 Delaware Ave., Delmar, NY 12054 would be appreciated.
