Eversley, Edmond O. TROY Brother Edmond O. Eversley died on April 16, 2011 in Troy. He was born December 14, 1922 in Sherwood, Jamaica, West Indies. Brother Eversley owned and operated an auto repair shop and two gas stations in Albany. He retired from the NYS Office of General Services after 20 years. Brother Eversley was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and the Albany Capital City Lodge #78. He leaves to mourn his death his wife, Jean Foust-Newsome; two sons, Edmond Eversley Jr. and Barry Keith Eversley; Nicole Eversley (granddaughter) and Calvin Newsome, Linda Newsome, Karen (Johnny) Newsome-Bobo. A host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins; in-laws; friends; Bethel Church family; and lodge brothers. Viewing will be Friday 9 to 11 at the church followed by the funeral services 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 2165 5th Ave., Troy, NY 12180, with Rev. Eric Shaw, pastor. Interment Elmwood Hills Cemetery, Troy.
