Hunt, Dr. Robert F. WILTON MANORS, Fla. Dr. Robert F. Hunt, 52, of N.E. 24th St. died suddenly Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at his residence. Originally from Water-ford, N.Y. he has resided in the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. area for the past 23 years as a revered family physician. Dr. Hunt is the beloved son of Joan Gormley Hunt of Waterford and the late Robert S. Hunt. Survivors in addition to his mother include his brothers, Dr. David J. Hunt (Kathi) of West Greenwich, R.I., Dr. James C. Hunt (Rocio) of Stroudsburg, Pa.; his sister, Dr. Sharon Hunt-Moriarty (Daniel) of Waterford and foster son, Jeremiah. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Kelly, Tyler, Danny, Erin, Sarah and Nolan. Special thanks are extended to his friends (family) in Florida; Sean McMillan, Anna Sanchez, Patricia Hunt, Naomi Tillman, Jimmie Renour, Anthony Livoti, Mark Hensel, Mark Conaghan and Trini. Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Sunday 3-6 p.m. Those who wish may make contributions to Doctors Without Borders in care of the funeral home office.
