Cosco, Evelyn ALBANY Evelyn Cosco, age 90, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, on November 27, 2011 surrounded by family. In keeping with her express wishes, Evelyn's funeral was private, attended only by her immediate family. Evelyn was born in Philadelphia on June 12, 1921 to Evelyn and Louis Angeloni. She later moved to Lancaster, Pa., a city she always cherished, and where she was raised. She married Joseph Cosco of Albany on August 25, 1945, while both were serving in the Armed Forces. Evelyn is survived by her four daughters, Camille Cosco Lane (husband, Gerald), Donna Cosco Hermle (husband, Keith), Theresa Cosco, and Mary Jo Cosco; grandchildren, Rebecca Rivers, Alexander and Roxanne Lane; stepgranchildren, Kelly, Kim, and Donald Munkwitz; great-grandchildren, Xavier and Violet Rivers; five nieces from Albany and their families and one aunt and several cousins from Lancaster. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe; her son-in-law, John Munkwitz; and step-grandson, Michael Munkwitz. A memorial event will be held in Spring 2012 to honor Evelyn's life. Donations in her memory may be made on-line at the official site of the Disabled American Veterans (dav.org).
