Little, Mark R. WYNANTSKILL Mark R. Little, 43, of Maryview Drive died suddenly Thursday, February 9, 2012. Born in Troy, he was the son of Thomas Irvin Little and Donna Christie Teal Little of Poestenkill and husband for 17 years of Melissa Toftegaard Little. He was raised in Poestenkill and resided in Wynantskill since 1994. He was a graduate of Averill Park High School class of 1986 and earned his associate's degree in business from Hudson Valley Community College. Mark worked for many years at Ackner Fuels and now Main-Care Energy, most recently as a dispatcher. He was an avid basketball player, playing in several area leagues and enjoyed biking. He was a loving father and husband. Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include his daughter, Mara Christine Little; a brother, Brent Thomas Little of Rensselaer; two sisters, Tara Christine (Timothy) Little-Stewart of Poestenkill and Kirsten Leah (John Winston) Little of Poestenkill; his in-laws, David and Patricia Toftegaard of West Sand Lake; a brother-in-law, Jeffrey David Toftegaard; a niece, Cassie Marie Little and two nephews, Ryan Thomas Stewart and Hunter John Winston. Relatives and friends may call at the DeGraaf-Bryce Funeral Home, Inc., 4392 Route 150, West Sand Lake on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 13, 2012 at 10 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, Route 150 West Sand Lake with the Rev. James A. Hulihan, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, West Sand Lake. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Mark R.
