NEW BALTIMORE Mary Costanza, 93, entered eternal life on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the Eddy-Ford Nursing Home in Cohoes where she was a resident. Mary was born September 29, 1912, in Brooklyn, daughter of the late Santo and Ninfa Giambalvo. She was a longtime resident of New Baltimore, N.Y., Cuyler Avenue in Albany and Uthe Boulevard in Coeymans. Mary was parishioner of St. Patrick's Church, Ravena, a lifetime member of the Cornell Hook and Ladder Ladies Auxiliary of New Baltimore, a Red Cross Gray Lady Volunteer at St. Peter's Hospital and a member of St. James Choir in Albany. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Costanza Sr. Survivors include her sons, Sal (Betty), Santo (Betty Jane), both of New Baltimore, Joseph Jr. (Linda Bishop) of Mazomanie, Wis.; daughter, Gerry Welch (John) of Arlington, Va.; ten grandchildren, Robert, Mary Jane Vinci, Dianne Johnson, Richard, Carol Ann Young, William, Michael, Ann Marie Engasser and John and Daniel Welch; also survived by 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Friday, November 11 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be sent to the Eddy-Ford Nursing Home, 421 West Columbia St., Cohoes, NY 12047 or to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205.
