Wyanski, James DELANSON James Wyanski, 82, of Duanesburg Road passed away peacefully at Ellis Hospital on April 12, 2012 after a brief illness. Born in Queens, he grew up and was educated in New York City. For five years he served as a New York State Trooper until he moved to the Duanesburg area in 1960. He married his beloved wife Joan Adams on September 17, 1955. Joan predceased her husband on November 6, 2005. Jim was employed as postal carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years. He was avid deep sea fisherman, loved long rides in the car and was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan. Jim served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and was a reservist for 25 years. He is survived by his sons, Jim (and Michelle) Wyanski of Troy, Christopher (and Margaret) Wyanski of Rotterdam and Michael Wyanski of Duanesburg. Jim is also survived by three grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Wyanski and Richard (and his wife Joyce) Wyanski, all of Florida; his sister-in-law, Mickey Hotaling of Schenectady and brother-in-law, John (and Laurie) Adams of Delanson. Jim was predeceased by his son, John Wyanski on February 10, 2005. Family and friends are invited to call at the White Vanburen Funeral Home, 1779 Main St., on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Immediately following, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Alexander Road, Delanson at 10 a.m. Interment with full military honors will be held at 12 p.m. at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylerville. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church, PO Box 219, Delanson NY 12053.
