Max Kuperman Obituary

Kuperman, Max GUILDERLAND Max Kuperman, 89, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Born in New York City, Max was employed as an attorney for New York State. He was a member of Congregation B'Nai Sholom in Albany. Max was married to Selma Kuperman until her passing in 1974 and is survived by their two sons, Joshua and Aaron Kuperman. Max is also survived by six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and his sisters, Rosalie Edelstein and Ida Gregerman. Max was later married to Lillian Raskin until her passing in 2007 and was stepfather to her daughters, Mona and Marilyn and grandpa to their children. Services will be held in the Beth Emeth Cemetery, Turner Lane, Loudonville, N.Y. on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Those wishing to remember Max in a special way may make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice. To Max's sons and Max's stepdaughters:

I feel as if I know all of you as I worked with your dad/stepdad for many years at the New York State Dept. of Taxation and Finance. I listened to many wonderful stories about each of you from Max and Lillian. Max was a great person to work with and for. I shall pray for your family at this difficult time. The last time I saw Max was at an Alumni Luncheon for our Dept. I'm sorry I didn't know about his service because I would really have tried to be there. You all have my deepest sympathy for a wonderful man.
