Peluso, Theresa (Stagliano) MECHANICVILLE Theresa (Stagliano) Peluso, 84, of Grove Street, died Thursday, September 27, 2102 at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy, in the loving company of her family. A native and lifelong Mechanicville resident, born December 31, 1927, daughter of the late Rufus and Edith Smith Stagliano, Theresa worked in the meat department for Price Chopper supermarkets for more than 20 years, and had also worked at the Stewart's Shop in Mechanicville for some time. A faithful communicant of Assumption-St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mechanicville, she was also a member of the church's Rosary Altar Society. Time spent with her children and their kids, her siblings and her in-laws were the most important times of her life. Sadly, her husband, Michael Peluso, died at a young age on her birthday, in 1975. Survivors include her four children, John and Wendy Peluso of Warrensburg, Donna M. Peluso of Mechanicville, Michael (Jerry Cramer) Peluso of Schenectady and Joseph and Francine Peluso of Schaghticoke. Six grandchildren, Kimberly LeCount, Gwendolyn Prill, Heather, John, April and Tyler Peluso. Two great-grandchildren, Travis and Ethan. Also siblings, Emily D'Alberto of Kingston, Ruth DiDomenico and Jeanette Marinello and Frank (Louise) Stagliano, all of Mechanicville and Helen Street of Arizona, along with in-laws, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sisters, Marie Carpenter and Betty Buhl. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 1, 2102 at 9 a.m. at the All Saints on the Hudson (St. Paul's) South Church, 121 N. Main St., Mechanicville. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery.
