Pietrantonio, Anthony CLIFTON PARK Anthony Pietrantonio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Ellis Hospital with his family at his side. Born on November 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Paul and Maria Pietrantonio and oldest of five children. He was predeceased by his brother, Julius. Tony attended Potsdam University where he earned a bachelor of science in chemistry. After graduating from college, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry for many years before starting two companies, Data Specifics and his current business, Caltest LLC. Tony enjoyed spending time with family and friends over a good meal and a fine cigar. He loved his work and going on fishing and hunting trips. Tony's gregarious personality and scientific mind fueled many humorous conversations and fond memories for family, friends and colleagues. Tony is survived by his devoted wife, Maureen; their three children and spouses, Chris and Andrea, Kelli and Ben, and Patrick and Keri; four grandchildren, Madison, Michael, Matthew and Jillian; three siblings and their spouses, Mary and Vinny, Angela and Al and Paul; several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Tony's family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Unit A3 staff at Ellis Hospital for their loving and attentive care during his time there. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park with a funeral Mass Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church.
