Miley, Richard W. ALBANY Richard W. Miley, 80, passed away on February 25, 2013 at home. "Miley" or "Ironhead" as he was sometimes known was the only child of the late Richard E. and Leila Miley whom he lived with until their deaths in 1997 and 1983 respecti-vely. Mr. Miley was a graduate of Albany High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force attending technicians school where he studied jet engine maintenance at Amarillo Air Force Base in Texas. Mr. Miley retired from the Niagara Mohawk power company where he worked for most of his working life. Mr. Miley was an "honored" member for over 50 years in local #137 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was also a member of B.P.O.E. lodge No. 49 located on S. Allen St. He loved skiing, motorcycling and reading. There are no know survivors. Interment services held at Albany Rural Cemetery will be private.
