Grace Perlman Obituary

Perlman, Grace ALBANY Grace Cohen Perlman, age 92, of the Massry Residence in Albany died peacefully on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Albany Medical Center. Born in New York City, Mrs. Perlman resided in Flushing, Queens for many years where she worked as a college assistant at Queens College. After retirement she moved to Florida where she resided for several years. She moved to the Capital District three years ago to be closer to her family. Grace enjoyed cooking, dancing, art and crafts and was an avid reader. Mostly, she treasured her time with her family. Grace was married to Aubrey Perlman until his passing in 2008. Loving mother of Francine Hurwit and her husband Jonathan of Guilderland, Barry (Joan) Perlman of Bensalem, Pa, Stewart (Audrey) Perlman of Fremont, Calif. and Rochelle (Alex) Orzech of Pleasanton, Calif. Sister of David and Eli Cohen, Rachel Benet and Judy Maida. Cherished grandmother of Adam, Ryan, Ben, Lauren and Jonathan Perlman; Joshua, Aaron and Daniel Hurwit; Scott, Gabrielle and Matthew Orzech. Great-grandmother of Kyla, Connor and Ethan Perlman and Alexa Hurwit. Services and interment will be held in North Lauderdale, Fla. on Monday, August 5, 2013.
