I heard with great sadness the passing of Carol. I was one of her ‘girls' for a long time at Excelsior. She was sweet, loyal, a great teacher, and truly one of a kind. Rest easy “Card.” My condolences to all of her family and friends.

Carol was my Aunt. I have many special memories when I was younger visiting her different houses and her visitng us. I always remember her wanting to take walks after dinner in the COLD COLD air. I remember that she really hated her picture but lucky to have a few shots of her w/ my son. I will cherish the last time I saw her at a long lunch out where she was so happy -smiling and laughing with me and my sisters. I will miss her emails to me checking in and genuinely asking how I am and really caring about my well being. I know she enjoyed getting my emails and pictures as well. She was so thoughtful and generous for birthdays and holidays, etc. She has reminded me how short life is. I wish I could see her one more time, one more email or one more phone call. I hope she is at peace. God Bless you Aunt Carol xo Tara

Saw Carol only once or twice since our high school days but remember her well. A nearby neighbor, she was on our bus route & often rode with us to church choir practice. She was quiet, but intelligent, kind & thoughtful. Rest in piece, Carol. Condolences to Joan, Terry & Linda & all the family.

I worked with Carol over 35 years ago and we became friends. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a support to me during a difficult time in my life all those years ago. She was always such a warm and fun person to be around. We went out separate ways as life took us in different directions, but I will always remember her in my heart. RIP Carol.

Carol and I became friends when we became house mates for students attending Mildred Elley. Our friendship has remained strong all these years. She was a very caring person and was always there with a helping hand for those who needed it. I as well as everyone who knew her will have wonderful memories to sustain us. God bless her, she is finally free of pain and at peace.
