I was so saddened to hear of Jon's passing. He was such a fun, great guy! He was there for me when my husband passed with his kindness and generosity and I will always love him for that.

Very sorry to hear of Jon's passing. We spent quite a time back in the '60's with friends like, Jim Alonzo, Rocco Levo, Dennis, etc traveling to Lake George in the evening, etc. He worked with my brother-in law, Buck Farenel, and John Wood as relatives.I have been in Florida for 30+yrs, but will always remember the good times especially in his white Int. convertible. He is now At peace,

My condolences to the entire Pennell Family. I remember Jonathon from the neighborhood. We used to shoot hoops in the large driveway and rode to Albany with him several times while attending Albany Business College. Back then he was very quick-witted and always ready to tell or listen to a good joke. Though I'd not had contact with Jon in many years, he still lives in my memory.

To the entire family - I grew up in the old Italian neighborhood on Elm Street and had the distinct privilege of spending countless hours in the Pennell household. They were like an extended family to me in growing up and always made spending time in their home a very special time in my youth. There are just so many countless memories to cherish that singling out any at this time would be an impossibility. I extend to each of you my heartfelt sympathy at this time and pray that each of you know how very special Jon was a part of my life and countless others over the years. I know that your faith will provide you comfort at this time. Just realize that there are so many others that had the privilege of being even a small part of Jon's life share your loss!
