Henry Overocker Obituary

Overocker, Henry "Britt" LATHAM Henry "Britt" Overocker died April 26, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Troy he was son of the late Robert E. and Andrea Bartlett Overocker. He attended Mechanicville School's and graduated from HVCC. He had worked at the Watervliet Arsenal as general forman for over 37 years retiring in 2008. He later worked at the Colonie Golf course and was an avid golfer. Survived by his loving wife Aprille Serfilippi Overocker; and his devoted son Matthew (Leslie Aiken) Overocker. He was step-father of Kristin Cotrona and Joshua (Betsy) Cotrona; brother of Robert E. Overocker Jr. and the late Robert F. Overocker; brother-in-law of Tari Serfilippi, William (Robbie) Serfilippi, Santino (Beth) Serfilippi, Gerry (Mary Margaret) Serfilippi, Dr. Geoffrey (Mary Jane) Serfilippi and the late Helen Magin and Christine Marcil. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Scruffy. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Geoffrey Serfilippi and the staff at NYOH for the wonderful care and support given to Britt in his time of need. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Church Latham. Interment will be in Hudson View Cemetery Mechanicville. Calling hours are Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the Marra Funeral Home. Those who wish may make donation's in Britt's memory to the animal rescue at Dust Bunny's Boutique, 29 Marlboro Rd. Delmar NY 12054.
