Albert Paulk Obituary

Paulk, Albert Sr. TROY Albert Paulk Sr., 85, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2017. Born in Georgia, he was the son of Quincey Paulk and Daisy Wilcox Paulk. Albert served in the United States Army and he worked for Al Tech Steel in Watervliet for many years. He is survived by his children, Jennie Paulk (Robert) Small of Cohoes and Albert Paulk Jr., of Troy; his grandchildren, Kenisha Paulk, Shawnta Paulk, Akeem Paulk and Shaquan Small; his nine great-grandchildren; his sister, Katherine Venable (Ernest) of East Greenbush; and the mother of his children, Catherine Nelson of Florida. Albert was predeceased by his wife, Annie Bell Paulk; and his siblings, J.B. Paulk, Betty Lightsey, Nora Major and Willie Paulk. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 13, in the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 2900 5th Ave., Troy. Burial with military honors will follow in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Church prior to the service. Please visit mcloughlinmason.com.
