DARCHE Marilyn Darche died on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at age 85. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Marilyn lived her adult life in Jacksonville Florida as a mother and grandmother, an accomplished artist and art teacher, an elementary school teacher at Holy Rosary and Saint Patrick s Catholic schools, a St. Vincent s Hospital caregiver, a Third Order of Saint Francis officer, a Catholic Charities organizer, and charter member of Saint Patrick s Catholic Church. Marilyn touched the lives of so many as a lay minister of caring for all those in need. The wife of the late Eugene E. Darche, Marilyn is survived by her five children; Todd Darche, Kathleen Dunn, David Darche, Marilyn Rosetti, and Shelley Amirault; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and her sister Joan Etheridge. The family invites friends to a 9:30am Friday, April 5, Memorial Mass at San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Rd. Jacksonville, FL. Flowers should be sent to Corey Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Jax, FL 32211.
