I am very sadden of the passing of Dr. Krisit Aston. Dr. Aston became my Primary Care Physician in the late 80's and remained until 2011. She was a wonderful and caring person. She will be missed dearly.

February 18, 2013

I am so sad to hear of Dr. Aston's passing onto glory. She was my husband and my doctor since 1991. Then she treated the 3rd generation with my grandson and his wife becoming her patients. Dr. Aston was one of the finest doctors I have ever known. She was more than smart, she was intuitive and always knew just what our family needed. I am a registered nurse and am very picky who I chose as my family's doctor. Our prayers go out to your family in this time of sadness.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Dr. Aston. She was my doctor for 15 years until I moved away from Jacksonville. When I was in high school, I did a research project on a health disorder and she personally called me and allowed me to interview her for my project. She was an excellent physician and a wonderful person. She was always so nice and caring.

Kristi embodied everything that is most admirable about a Southern woman. She was graceful, strong, resolute in her love of the 'Gators and one of the warmest people I have ever met. It was amazing how her smile could light up an entire room! I will greatly miss her and look forward to the day when she welcomes us all into her new heavenly home as she always did to her earthly home.

Dr. Aston has been and will continue to be missed. My family and I have been patients with Arn and Aston for probably over 20 years. God has called home a special angel. With our deepest sympathy to her family, friends and co-workers.

January 26, 2013

Kristi Aston, as we knew her, has been our family doctor for 20 years. She first diagnosed my daughter's asthma that no one else could. During a two year time period when my vision was doubled, she was the only one to determine a certain medication I was given by another doctor, and after she removed that medication, three days later, I could see. What made her special? The time she spent with you, her big smile, hugs and caring. We will miss her so much, and ask God to bless her family and pray He will give her family peace.

January 26, 2013

Kristi took me on when she wasn't taking new patients. My husband was a disabled vet and when I couldn't get him in to VA, Kristi took him . She had just came back from med leave and Jamie was keeping close eye on her. Well we were her last patient for the day but I needed paper work filled out which took about a hour but she stayed so my husband could get his scooter. Kristi's heart was bigger than she was and she always was there for each person--never rushed you out to get next one. About a month ago I told her , "I will go to the other replacement till she came back--because she is no Kristi." She laughed and thought that was good statement,. I know you are in better place now, no pain and sun always shining on you. God needed his angel to come home. We were blessed that he let us have you for a short time. God bless your family and may they have peace knowing you are in God's hands. RIP wonderful lady you earned every tribute written because you are the word LOVE to many of us.You will be missed by all who was fortunate to have known you.

Thank you for being kind to me at Northeast. There were times in my life when I was down with my father dying of cancer, and your smile or reaching out with kind words and sentiments helped me get by. I am so thankful to have shared a long chat with you last Monday, even though we hadn't seen each other for 32 years you invited me to visit your family in Jacksonville. You will be remembered for your smile, kind heart, and the love you shared with us all. Rest in peace, Kristi.

Dr. Aston was my family's dr for as long as I can remember it seems. I recall the time my son (21 now) was barely 4 and needed stitches in the crown of his head. He was like any other 4 yr old crying & terrified he came in with his little rag doll he had since birth that he slept with & carried when he was sick, when she came in said yep stitches I knew we'd be holding him down, but when she said let me see your baby we'lll give him stitches first, and stitched his little baby's head right where he was gonna get them he was too amazed and laid right there with her while she shaved his head & stitched him up I was blown away by her patience and compassion for his fear.
My family has truly missed her as she's been out sick and we are deeply saddened to her she's gone forever. I know it's going to be extremely hard to find another Dr as great as she was. We loved her dearly. I'm pray that God comforts her family as they over come her loss. May they have piece in knowing that she is no longer suffering any illness & her new smiles must light up the heaven!

I am very sad to hear the news regarding Kristi. I was one of her first patients when she started practicing with Cliff on Lane Avenue. Over the years, she became not only my family physician, but also my friend. Kristi was always a pleasure to see both personally and professionally. She was one of the most caring and compassionate people that I have ever known. I will be forever grateful to her for the unconditional love and care she provided for my Mom during her fight against cancer. Kristi may no longer be with us here, but here memory will never leave us and hopefully inspire us to show others the love and compassion that Kristi gave each of us that knew her. May God be with her family during the weeks ahead and may she rest in peace.

Prayers going out to her family. Sincerely Beth Murphy

I first met Dr. Aston when she was Dr. Garmon. I was the nurse for a surgeon and she was in his service. I was very impressed with her and told her if her practice was on the westside I would be her patient. I was for the 20 years she practiced. She was the greatest physician I have met. I have been missing her and will until I too am gone. No one could take her place. I'm praying for her family.

Our prayers are with Dr Aston-Dickson's family and friends. She was my doctor for over 20 years and has been missed terribly. She was so caring. I remeber when my 26 year old son was only 5 years old and needed stitches, I rushed in begged not to be sent away, he was between medical coverages, Dr Aston was dressed up and on her way out. She put on her jacket and took such loving care of my son. Just one example of how caring she was to my family all of these years! God Bless her and her family!

January 23, 2013

My thoughts & prayers are with Dr. Aston's Family. Dr. Aston was one of the kindest, compassionate & professional people I have ever worked for. She treated us like family, not just employees. I've seen her cry with patients during their difficult times, even when she was dealing with difficult things herself. I worked with/for her for almost 7 yrs. and I will never the many many things she did for me & my daughter. Our timing doesn't always line up with God's timing, but when he moves you have to accept it is his will.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Aston. I have been a patient since she first joined Dr. Arn and her name was Dr. Garmon at that time. She was a wonderful doctor and person. When you needed a cry she cried with you. On my visits we talked about her son and what his new interest were at the time. When Brian was of age to get his drivers license she talked of every mothers concern but she was confident that he was good driver because of his hobby. Every specialist I had to go to told me how lucky I was to have Dr. Aston as my doctor. Dr. Aston will be dearly missed and my heart and prayers goes out to her family and staff.

We are so saddened by the news of Dr. Kristi's passing. She was doctor to several members of our family. Dr. Kristi was a beautiful person with such patience, kindness and willingness to spend however long necessary with her patients. You were never rushed with her. She will be sorely missed! She was truly an angel and there will never be another like her! Our thoughts and prayers are with her precious family!
