To the best family I've ever known: Nothing anyone can say or do will help ease the pain. But I heard a story once that may help make sense of it.

A mother was grieving over the loss of her infant baby. A woman asked the mother why she was upset. When the mother explained that she had just lost her baby, the woman asked the mother if she had grieved when the baby was born. The mother replied, "No, of course not."
"Then you shouldn't grieve for your baby now. She only went back to where she came from."
If there is anything, anything at all, that you should need, don't hesitate to ask.

My heart and prayers go out to you. I was so shocked and saddened when I heard about Tom's death in Mass today. Young Thomas is in my Prep class and at his request we all prayed for his Dad after he went in the hospital. When I saw him last, he was very excited that his Dad seemed to be doing better. I can't imagine what you are all going through now. You have such a beautiful family. I pray that God gives you strength and comfort at this time.

Suzanne,
Words alone can not express how sad we all are at the loss of such a great person. Tom had one of the biggest hearts of any individual that I have ever had the pleasure of being around and I am a better person for having known him. He has made such an impact in my life personally, that I will be forever grateful.
Anyone that knew Tom, knew how important family was to him; not only his own but also the families of the people that he managed. He truly cared for each and every one of his employees, but he will not be remembered as a great boss, but as a loving husband, devoted father and cherished friend.
Our deepest sympathies go out to you and the family.

Suzanne,
We were shocked to hear the news. My heart truly goes out to you and your family. Please accept our deepest sympathies regarding your loss.
Tom was such a kind, gentle soul. He was my first friend when I moved to Augusta. Please be strong and realize that others are available for support.

April 8, 2014

Dear Suzanne and Family:
We were saddened to hear today of Tom's passing. He was so young and had
so much more life to live.

Romans 8:38-39; For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

May you, your children and your family find comfort in prayer and in relying on the belief in Jesus Christ to bring you peace with Tom's passing.

Dear Suzanne. My heart is broken for your loss, words seems inadequate. May God be with you and kids during this time. Tom had such a big heart, and he taught me so much during our time in Augusta. It is so hard to say farewell to my friend of 16 years.

Suzanne and Family,

There are no words to express how devastated we are at the loss of Tom! He was such a wonderful, kindhearted, gentle man and we will miss him so very much. In 2000 when we moved to Augusta we did not know anyone but you both made us feel so welcomed that we became the best of friends actually even more than that we became family. Together we experienced the birth of our children, shared holidays and birthdays and so much more!!. Last summer when we visited your new home it was just like old times. Sitting at the kitchen table and Tom cracking his hysterical jokes or even just a crack comment with that devious look on his face that we could not help but to laugh.
Suzanne you are stronger than you realize and it is okay to ask for help. I may not be in Florida but I am just a phone call away and will be there if you need me. I promise you that!!
All our love to you and the kids!

Suzanne & Family
There are no words to express how devastated we are right now. Both you and Tom are more than friends to Sal and I you are and always will be our family. Back in 2000 when we moved to Augusta and did not know many people you both were so generous in making us feel so welcomed and were always there for us especially during the birth of our Andrew. I don't know what we would have done without you both!! Last summer during our visit to your new home it was just like those years in Augusta all over again never missing a beat. We just sat at the kitchen table listening to Tom's hysterical jokes and just talking about the kids. Suzanne you are stronger than you realize and it is ok to ask for help We love all of you so much and we are here for you.

Dear Suzanne, Today I weep for the loss of a truly great Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Manager and most important to me, a friend. We met 20 years ago in Union Beach. Tom was an intern and I an operator. We continued on to Augusta together where we spent many an evening talking about our lives, loves and what we wanted out of this world. I admired him so much for his hard work and honesty that he brought to the job everyday. I also admired him for the way he idolized his wife and children. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Suzanne and Family,
Words can not express the sadness we feel for your loss. Tom was such a wonderful person. I so enjoyed my time at IFF, and have to say he was favorite boss. He had such a great sense of humor and I will always remember all his great stories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. I am so sorry. Tom, it was so shocking you left us that quickly. I still remember you back 19 years ago when we were hired by IFF. Since then we worked together on many CDAS projects. It was so fortunate to work with you because you were a gifted smart engineer. You understood the control system very well, and were the best user of the system. Even when you were general manager with two plants, you supported me in many ways to get the best out of the system. I had great years with your leadership. You were a manager who truly cared about people.

I have so many good memories of you throughout the 19 years with IFF. From your first child to your JAX new home, you always shared your happy family with us. It was joy to hear you talking about your wife, children, parents, sister, and brother with smile. You were a truly great human being, and my heart is with your family.

You will be missed dearly.

Dear Suzanne and family. I know you are all devastated over this unexpected loss of Tom. May God help all of you through these difficult days and weeks ahead. Wish I were there to be of some help to you. I remember when I first met the two of you and helped you do that wonderful job of building your first home. You are such a strong person Suzanne. I know you can do this journey that is ahead of you for your children and for yourself. Much love, Peggy.
