ALVIN HALL

HALL Mr. Alvin Hall, age 76, passed away July 10, 2013. He was a native of Valdosta, GA., having resided in Jacksonville most of his life. He was a member of Matthew W. Gilbert Junior-Senior High School-Class of 1955. He served his country Honorably in the U. S. Air Force, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Hall was employed with Anheuser-Busch, retiring after rendering 29 years of dedicated service. He was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Other affiliations include member of the United Mens' Club. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Margaret Hall; children, Mmes. Rosalyn Amaro (Kenneth), Cynthia Hayes-Graham (Leroy), Cassandra Jones (Jeffery), Arena Miller (Joseph) of Barkerville, GA, and Willie B. Taylor of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Ruby Givens; brother, James Hall; a number of other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 10 AM, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Triumph in Zion Ministries, Apostle Darryl McCoy, Pastor, officiating. Mr. Hall will rest in the mortuary for visitation Monday from 5 PM until 8 PM (where the family will receive friends at 5 PM) and Tuesday at the church from 9AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Jacksonville National Cemetery. Friends are asked to assemble at the church under the direction of ALPHONSO WEST MORTUARY, INC., 4409 Soutel Dr. 904-766-9671.
