Charles E. Wilson(1935 - 2013)

WILSON Charles E. Wilson, 78, passed away on Saturday, November 2nd surrounded by his loving family at the Community Hospice Hadlow Center after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Charlie was born June 11, 1935 in Greenville, S.C. He graduated from Landon H.S., attended Jacksonville University and served in the National Guard. He was founder and president of General Graphics Corp. since 1966 and was well known for his honesty and integrity. He coached Gray Y Football and Little League Baseball for many years and was an original member of the Neptune Angels Diving Club. He was a Rotarian with perfect attendance for 26 years, a Paul Harris recipient as well as a member of Morocco Shriners Arab Patrol (served as Captain two terms) and Potentate in 1995. Charlie and his wife, Ramona cherished their many wonderful memories of traveling the world together. His favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends at the lake house. He was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter, Kaitlin and daughter-in-law, Terri. He is survived by the love of his life of 59 years, Ramona, brother Jim (Joyce), children, Kevin (Deedee), Danny (Kathy), Colette (Rob), Larry (Cindy) and grandchildren Kyli (Ryan), Tyler, Justin, Joey, Andrew, Cody (Ashley), Brett, K.C. and Kendall. A special thank you to Dr. Bubis, nurses Shelby and Lisa, Dr. Kancha, Dr. Jacqmein, Baptist South Hospital and Community Hospice for all the special care and comfort given to him and his family. A celebration of life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 16th at Morocco Shrine Activities Bldg. (in the back).
