MOUNTAIN Funeral services for LCDR (Ret.), Charles Richard Mountain, 83, will be held Monday, October 8, 2012 at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 116 Foxridge Road, Orange Park, FL with Rev. Troy Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery at 2PM. Charles was born on September 23, 1929 in Buffalo, New York. He went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2012 in Orange Park, FL surrounded by his family. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and The Vietnam War retiring after 23 years of decorated service. He went on to make a career with Florida HRS as an Inspector and retired after 18 years of dedicated service. Charles was a devoted member of the St. Giles Presbyterian Church since 2005. Charles was predeceased by his daughter, Karen Jeanne Myers in 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Audrey Jeanne Mountain; son, Steven Mountain and his wife Donna; brother, Henry Mountain; sister, Lola Brown; two grandchildren, Kendra Myers and Gunter Myers; great-grandson, Cody Dent, and many other loving family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday prior to the service from 10AM-11AM at St. Giles Presbyterian Church.
