HIBBEN Edward Rector Hibben, 82, died peacefully on August 29, 2013 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Born August 30, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, Ed attended Dartmouth and the University of Colorado. He served his country in the United States Navy at Naval Air Station Pensacola. After settling in Hinsdale, Illinois, Ed s multi-dimensional skills led to the founding and growth of The Mallard Press of Oakbrook, Illinois. Ed and Nancy retired to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in 1996. Together they enjoyed traveling, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Loving husband to Nancy J. Hibben, he is also survived by his brother, George C. Hibben of Lincoln, Massachusetts; devoted father to Scott Hibben (Danna), John Hibben (Mary), Virginia Hibben Bohac (Charles) and Charles Hibben, and mischievous grandfather to 7 grandchildren: Laura Hibben, Allison & Jake Hibben, Michael (Kimberly) & Chad Bohac, Mimi & Peter Hibben. He is also great-grandfather to London Hibben (son of Laura Hibben). A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida Contributions in his memory may be made toward the Memorial Gardens at Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida 32082.
