BALDWIN Elden Baldwin, 76, passed away early Friday morning October 26, 2012 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born February 13, 1936 in Manila, West Virginia to Arland and Gladys Baldwin. He served 30 years in the United States Navy and then served 20 years as a Civil Service employee. After 50 years of service to his country he retired to his home in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was an avid amateur radio enthusiast and a member of the Beaches Amateur Radio Society for most of his life in Florida. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Baldwin-Padgett, his mother Gladys, his father Arland Baldwin and his brother Ralph Baldwin. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Emogene Baldwin, a son Kevin Baldwin, his daughter Regina Murphy, one grandson, Michael Williams, and three granddaughters, Lindsey Elmore, Jennifer Baldwin and Kayleigh Williams, and four great-grandsons. The family wishes to thank the McGraw Center Community Hospice on Worrall Way for their care and compassion. They are wonderful people and their help during this difficult time was much appreciated. The memorial service with full military honors will be held 1pm Wednesday, October 31 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach.
