ALBERTIE Funeral Services for Mr. Garry Anthony " B.J." Albertie, Jr., age 22, will be held at 11AM, SATURDAY, February 23, 2002 in Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Isaac Roberts, Pastor, officiating. Mr. Albertie of 8293 Velvet Springs LN. died February 16, 2002 in a local hospital. A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mr. Albertie resided in Jacksonville for most of his life, where he attended Terry Parker, Ribault and Forrest High Schools. He was a graduate of Mauldin Senior High School-Class of 1998 in Greenville, SC and attended Tallahassee Community College. For the past 3 years, Mr. Albertie was self - employed in the music industry, where he was known as a member of the Rap Group, " No Luv". Survivors include his daughter, Ms. Armoni Rakia Albertie; mother, Ms. Carmen E. Reid; father, Garry A. Albertie, Sr.; grandmother, Mrs. Cora B. Albertie; grandfathers, Flemming Albertie, Jr. and Samuel R. Reid; great-grandmother, Mrs. Merdis Albertie; sister, Mrs. Danielle D. Plummer (Sameer); brothers, Rufus L. Gordon and Cameron Albertie; uncle, Howard, John, Eddie, Michael Reid, Victor Albertie, Charles Eugene( Gladys), Aaron(Nettie), James and Clarence Flagg; aunts, Mses. Shelia T. Johnson(Keith) and Samantha Reid; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mr. Albertie will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends Friday (TONITE) from 5PM until 8 PM and in the church Saturday from 9AM until the hour of service.
