Jack William Bruhn(1944 - 2014)

BRUHN Jack William Bruhn, 69, passed away to the better place Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL, his home for 50 years. Jack was born in Birmingham, Alabama July 1, 1944 to Maurine and Leonard Bruhn and grew up in Racine, WI. He joined the US Navy and cruised the Atlantic aboard the USS Huntington (DD-781). Jack dedicated 34 years to Metals Container Corp. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Carol; her daughters, Christine Burns of Panama City, FL and Jill Keathley (Danny) of Jacksonville, FL; her son, David Pace (Tammy) of Jacksonville; his daughter, Deborah Steedley (Ralph) of Waycross, GA; his brother, Donald Bruhn (Joyce) of Phoenix, AZ; his sister Carolyn Bruhn-Hansmeier of Rockford, IL and an extended family of many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donations may be made in his memory to Haven Hospice at www.havenhospice.org. A committal service at Jacksonville National Cemetery will be announced.
