ALEXANDER James Jim Alexander, 88, went to be with his Heavenly Father Sunday, December 29, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Booth Point, Tennessee but moved across the Mississippi River to spend his youth in Cottonwood Point, Missouri. He proudly served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean Campaign. Jim leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 48 years, Annette, children Allen Alexander (Sueanna) of Brunswick, GA, Denise Galbraith of Fayetteville, N.C., Eric Alexander (Amy) of Jacksonville, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00am at the San Jose Church of Christ, 6233 San Jose Blvd, 32217. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.
