Joseph A. Hathaway(1919 - 2014)

HATHAWAY Joseph A. Hathaway passed away June 30, 2014. He was born October 18, 1919 in Verona, NJ. He was the oldest of five brothers. Joe retired from Prudential after 42 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army/Air Force during World War II, spending a couple of years in the CBI, mostly in China. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Helen Ross Sandford. Joe and Helen found each other because of World War II and fell in love. Only a love story writer could have written the proper story. Joe is survived by his son, Joe, Jr.; daughter, Susan Crews; grandchildren, Kelli Crews and Kim Blasutta; great grandchildren, Andrea Sharp and Kyle Sharp and brother, David Hathaway. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
